Accelerate into an adventure like no other! Continuing our relationship with Finnish developer Fingersoft we were extremely flattered to be asked to work closely with them to create this 90 second CG epic showcasing their new collaboration with LEGO. As huge fans of both the Hill Climb franchise and of all things LEGO, we couldn't wait to get working on this one! Playing on the idea of a thrill-packed race between the flashy Rick Ace and Hill Climb Racing's superbly stoic hero Bill, we wanted to not only highlight the games mechanics and colourful story but it's expansive environments and destructible architecture! Thanks to Fingersoft's already extensive and established Unity build we were able to use exports directly from their game engine and pull everything together for all of our environments, characters and assets in Blender, ready for animation. Since going live the trailer has been viewed 150,000 times on Fingersoft’s channels and has comments flooding in from LEGO and Hill Climbs fans alike. From all caps exclamations to inside jokes, these types of comments let us know we have really hit the mark with a trailer like this! Watch the full trailer here!
