Reveal Trailer, Story, and Live Action Trailers

When Saber reached out asking us to create these reveal and story trailers for their chilling videogame adaptation of the iconic “A Quiet Place”, we just knew we had to do it justice! We worked hard harnessing the power of both in game capture and Unreal Engine 5, resulting in captivating cinematic sequences that draw you into the terrifying world of A Quiet Place where any sound could be your last.

Reveal Trailer
For the reveal trailer we knew we wanted to create a piece that establishes the terrifying reality of the in-game scenario. Each scene was meticulously designed using in-game assets to enhance the eerie and tension filled atmosphere. We crafted realistic custom animations and elevated the sinister scene even further with post-apocalyptic set dressing, camera, lighting and VFX. The result is this stunningly creepy cinematic trailer that still highlights the gameplay mechanics of this incredible game.

Story Trailer
For this piece we had a slightly different approach. We wanted to craft a perfect immersive experience that told a complete narrative while continuing to showcase what this haunting game has to offer. We combined the best of both worlds, merging atmospheric game capture with alluring cinematic scenes. This piece is also more character driven, focusing on the range and intensity of emotions they feel as they deal with the aftermath of the world that we all know and love falling into horrifying chaos.

Live Action Trailer
Our latest live-action trailer for Saber's A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead marks another virtual production project for Big Farmer. The goal? Bring the immersive world of A Quiet Place to the real world. What might look like a real space is actually a fully virtual environment displayed in real time on a massive LED screen surrounding the set. That living room? It’s the protagonist’s home from the game. That monstrous shadow on the staircase? It was actually there, shot in-camera. Virtual production allows the team, both in front of and behind the camera, to interact with something “real” on set—where elements would typically be added in post. This opens up endless creative possibilities!
